A quick note: The Ducky Triathlon Scheduled for Aug. 15th has been cancelled due to a scheduling conflict with the 32nd McConnell's Ice Cream 10k/5k at Goleta beach. We are putting together a plan to still hold the Sept. 12th Ducky Triathlon as a tune up to the Carp. Tri. Stay tuned.

SB Timing was started to provide great timing services, a place to look up local running results and a forum for runners, triathletes, cyclists and swimmers.

I put together this web site so that it was not only a way for my timing business to have a home, but as a place to post local results (even ones I don't time), a place to look for upcoming local races and a way to provide a link to my community. I was born and raised here in Santa Barbara and even have my local team to root for (GO ROYALS!!...that is gonna get me in some trouble!!). BUT, I also wanted to promote a healthy lifestyle with exercise and a home for athletes of all levels. Don't hesitate to email me with your suggestions or ideas. I am sure we can incorporate all the good ideas.

SB Timing does not use disposable chips. We at SB Timing know athletes want to save the environment, not add to landfills. SB Timing supports that, so we use chips that are reusable. A little bit more work, a better planet.
